MGA offer a complimentary consultation to prospective clients.
During this meeting, we will discuss the project vision, goals, and potential challenges.
We will use this opportunity to assess compatibility and alignment of expectations.
STAGE 2
CONCEPT DESIGN (RIBA STAGE 2)
Preparation of preliminary design options based on clients brief
Depending on the scope defined in previous stage, this will include sketches, 2D drawings, development of a 3D model, and visualisations.
We always suggest meeting at our office to review the concept design presentation.
STAGE 4
TECHNICAL DESIGN, TENDER & PROCUREMENT (RIBA STAGE 3-4)
To prepare the technical design in accordance with project scope and strategies
To issue technical design information for tender & to manage the tender /procurement process
Discharge of relevant planning conditions
Appointment of main contractor
STAGE 6
PROJECT COMPLETION & HANDOVER (RIBA STAGE 6-7)
Conclude administration of contract
Handover of building
Coordination of health an safety file & any handover reports/manuals
Discharge of any post occupancy planning conditions
Continued relationship with client following completion
STAGE 1
PROJECT PREPARATION (RIBA STAGES 0-1)
Define the clients brief, project goals, budget, and timeline.
Identify necessary services, taking into account insights gained from the initial consultation.
Consultant recommendations
Prepare appointment documents
STAGE 3
DEVELOPED DESIGNS & PLANNING (RIBA STAGE 2-3)
Development of designs following receipt of client comments from previous stage.
Update to 3D visuals & presentation
Design meeting with client to review design changes.
Confirmation of agreed design ahead of preparing planning application documents (if required)
Submission of planning application to relevant planning authority
Monitoring planning application process
Consultant recommendations
STAGE 5
CONSTRUCTION (RIBA STAGE 4-5)
Monitoring & inspecting works on site.
Responding to any on-site queries from main contractor
Management of the consultant team.
