THIS HOUSE IS AN ICONIC MODERNIST BUILDING FROM THE 1960’S BY THE CELEBRATED ARCHITECT, PETER FOGGO.
When our client purchased this property, it was in poor condition and had not been well looked after over a long period of time, with a couple of poor quality later additions.
Our brief was to update the building, remove the unwelcome later additions, design a new and much larger extension to expand and enhance the original 1960’s structure and to create a new interior arrangement.
Our design scheme and specification involved stripping back the fabric of the house to the original exposed concrete structure … restoring the structure and then completely re-fitting the property.
Murrary Road remains as an iconic 1960’s design, but has been given a 21st century twist. It was a real privilege to have been working on a Peter Foggo building of such quality, and we like to think that he would be happy with the work we have carried out on his house.
